Cookies and your choices
How Owneli uses browser storage, analytics and advertising measurement.
Whose choices are these?
Owneli's public website and each business's booking pages have separate choices. Agreeing on one does not grant permission on another. Only categories configured for the current site or business are shown. Visiting a page, booking, or accepting the terms does not count as agreement to optional tracking.
What is stored?
Necessary cookies and local storage support authentication, security, booking steps, your basket and preferences. Optional analytics can use Google Analytics identifiers. Optional advertising can use Google Ads and Meta identifiers and keep advertising click and campaign details for up to 30 days. We do not store those advertising details before permission.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use Cookie settings to accept, reject or choose categories. They are off until you agree. We remember your choice for up to 180 days, and may ask again when the purposes or policy change. Clearing browser storage or using another browser means you will be asked again. On withdrawal, we stop future tracking for that category, clear accessible tracking cookies and reload the page. Data already sent is not automatically recalled; contact the site owner to exercise your privacy rights.
How we record permission
We store a random receipt identifier, the site or business, your category choices, the notice version, language, decision time and expiry. The receipt does not contain your name, email or IP address. The server checks the receipt before sending queued conversions. Expired receipts are removed by the scheduled retention process.
Your booking still counts
Rejecting optional tracking does not cancel your booking or payment and does not remove the business's appointment, receipt or revenue records. Optional advertising attribution is separate from those operational records. Necessary processing remains subject to the privacy policy.
Who receives optional tracking data?
Owneli's public-site analytics uses Google Analytics, with advertising features disabled. A business can configure Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta for its own pages. Analytics may receive page and purchase information with browser identifiers. Advertising may also receive click identifiers, hashed email or phone details, and IP address or browser information. Hashing does not make contact details anonymous. Read the privacy policy and contact the business for its configured providers and processing details.
