Operations → Boards
Boards are for work that isn't an appointment: the equipment check, the reorder run, the campaign that needs drafting, the room that needs deep-cleaning before Friday.
Create a board
New board starts you from one of three shapes, or a blank one:
- Treatment room ops — daily clinical workflow, appointments through follow-up
- Campaign planning — a marketing pipeline across ideas, drafts, scheduled, live
- Personal todo — a private board only you can see
Every board starts with four columns — Backlog, In progress, Blocked, Done — and you can rename, recolour, reorder, add, or delete columns afterwards.
Who can see a board
- Private — only you
- My team — you and everyone who reports into you, direct and indirect
- Org-wide — everyone in the workspace
Cards
Drag cards between columns to move them. A card holds:
- Title and body
- Assignees — the card then shows up on their My cards tab
- Due date — the card shows Today, Tomorrow, In N days, or Overdue with the date
- Linked notes — attach a procedure note so the SOP travels with the work
- Attachments — images and PDFs, up to 10MB each. One can be set as the card's cover.
- Comments — a thread on the card, editable and deletable by the author
My cards
The My cards tab on the boards page collects every card you're assigned to, across every board. It's the "what's on my plate" view — start there rather than opening boards one at a time.
Recurring cards
For rituals that happen on a rhythm — weekly cleaning, monthly equipment checks, quarterly stock takes — set up a recurring card instead of remembering to create one.
Recurrences run daily, every N days, weekly on chosen days, or monthly, each at a set time. The list shows the next run and how many times it has fired.
You can pause a recurrence, activate it again, or spawn a card now if you want one ahead of schedule.
Deleting a column
Boards versus notes
A note is the reference — how the equipment check is done. A board card is the instance — this week's equipment check, assigned to Sam, due Friday. Link the note to the card and the person doing the job has the instructions in front of them.
