Go to Settings → Language and click the language you want — English, Spanish, or French. The interface switches immediately, just for you. What clients see follows a separate rule: their own preference first, your business default second.
How do I change my interface language?
Open the language settings
Settings → Language. Every user can open Settings — no admin permission is needed for the personal tabs.
Pick a language
Click the language card. The switch is instant; there's nothing to save.
Your choice is personal — it changes what you see and doesn't affect anyone else on the team.
Which language do clients see?
Client-facing emails and texts follow a priority order:
| Priority | Source | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | The client's own language preference | Set on their profile — always wins |
| 2 | The business default email language | Admin-set, used when the client has no preference |
The business default lives on the same Settings → Language page, under Organization default email language (admins only). It covers automated emails and SMS — confirmations, reminders, and the like.
