How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?

Stop a salon's marketing emails with the unsubscribe link — exactly what stops, what you'll still receive, and how to change your mind later on.

Updated Aug 14, 2026

Tap unsubscribe in the footer of any marketing email, then tap the confirmation button on the page that opens — you're unsubscribed from that venue's marketing. Booking emails like confirmations and reminders still arrive.

What stops, and what doesn't?

The emails your bookings need aren't marketing, so they keep coming. Unsubscribing also applies only to the venue that sent the email — if you visit several businesses, each has its own list.

The extra confirmation tap is deliberate: it stops email scanners that follow links from unsubscribing you by accident.

How do I change my mind, or stop texts too?

  • Client account: sign in and open Account — email updates and SMS reminders are toggles you can flip any time.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to the message itself.
  • No account: just ask the venue to update your preferences.

Common questions

Why am I still getting appointment emails?

Because they're about your bookings, not advertising — confirmations, reminders, and receipts always send. To stop those, you'd need to stop booking or ask the venue directly.

Does unsubscribing affect my appointments?

No. Your bookings, account, and everything else are untouched.

I unsubscribed but got another promotion — what should I do?

Campaigns already queued may arrive shortly after. If marketing keeps coming beyond that, contact the venue — they can check your preference on your record.
