Conversion tracking tells your ad platforms which clicks turned into real bookings and purchases, so Google and Meta optimise toward clients — not just visitors. Connect it once at Settings → Storefront & integrations → Add-ons → Conversion tracking (admins only).
How do I connect Google and Meta tracking to Owneli?
Paste the IDs from each platform into the form. Owneli validates the format as you type, so a typo'd ID is caught at the field instead of silently never firing.
| Network | What you need | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Measurement ID (G-…), optionally an API secret | GA4 Admin → Data streams |
| Google Ads | Conversion ID (AW-…) and conversion label | Google Ads → Goals → Conversions |
| Meta (Facebook/Instagram) | Pixel ID, optionally a Conversions API token | Meta Events Manager |
Enable the add-on
Open the page and turn conversion tracking on.
Paste your IDs
Fill in each network you use. For Google Ads, the conversion ID alone fires nothing — the label is required with it.
Choose the conversion event
Pick what counts as a conversion: Schedule (a booking) or Purchase (a sale).
Save and test
The status panel shows a dot per network. For Meta and GA4, use the built-in test to confirm the server-side connection is reachable; Meta also gets a deep link to its Test Events screen.
What the status dots mean
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Reachable | Server-side sending is configured and the test passed |
| Untested | Configured with a server secret, but not yet tested |
| Browser only | Only the in-page tag fires — see the warning below |
| Error | The test failed — recheck the secret or token |
EU consent
If you serve EU visitors, turn on the EU consent option so tracking respects the visitor's consent choice.
Common questions
Where do conversions get tracked from?
Your public venue pages — online booking and the online shop. Staff-side POS sales aren't ad conversions and don't fire.
Do I need all three networks?
No. Configure only the platforms you actually advertise on; each fires independently.
Why does Google Ads show no conversions?
Check that both the conversion ID and the label are filled in — the ID alone fires nothing — and remember browser-only tags undercount when ad blockers are present.
