Accept an invitation to join a business

Open your invitation link, set a password and you're in, or accept with the Owneli account you already have.

Updated Oct 11, 2026

When a business adds you to its team, you get an email invitation. Open the link, set a password, and you're in. If you already use Owneli with that email, you just accept.

Before you start

  • You need the invitation email. The link is tied to the address it was sent to.

Accept as someone new to Owneli

Select the link in your invitation email. The page shows the business you're joining and your role.

Add your details

Enter Your name, then Set your password (at least 8 characters) and Confirm password. Add a Phone number if you'd like shift reminders by text; it's optional. Select Continue.

Verify your phone, if you added one

Enter the code texted to you and select Verify & accept. If it doesn't arrive, select Resend code or Email me the code instead, or Skip for now and verify it later.

You're in

You see Account created! and you're signed in. If not, select Sign in and use your new password.

Accept with an account you already have

One sign-in can belong to several businesses.

If something goes wrong

"Invalid Invitation"

The link has expired or been cancelled. Ask the person who invited you to send a new one.

Can I use a different email address?

No. The invitation belongs to the address it was sent to. If it's the wrong one, ask for it to be cancelled and sent to the right address.

What should I do first?

Set up two-factor sign-in; some businesses require it. See Secure your account with two-factor authentication.
