The first time you sign in, Owneli walks you through a short wizard before you land on Today: your details, an emergency contact, and any workplace policies that need your signature. Personal details can be skipped; policy sign-offs can't.
What does the onboarding wizard ask for?

A short introduction naming the business you've joined. Click Get started.
About you
Your full legal name (required), plus optional preferred name, phone, and date of birth.
Contact and emergency details
Home address and an emergency contact — name, relationship, phone, email.
Policies (only if any are waiting)
If the business has published policies you haven't signed, each one appears in turn. Read it, then sign — either type your name or draw a signature — and click I acknowledge. This step only appears when something is actually waiting for you.
Done
Click Go to dashboard and you land on Today.
What you can skip
The personal-detail steps are not blockers. Skip for now jumps you past them — you can fill in your address, date of birth, and emergency contact later from your profile. Skipping does not skip policies: those are a legal sign-off and must be acknowledged before you finish.
It remembers where you were
Every step saves as you go. If you close the tab halfway through, reopening the wizard resumes at the step you left, not at step one.
Why did onboarding come back?
If a new policy is published after you've finished onboarding, landing on the wizard again takes you straight to the outstanding policy — nothing else is re-asked. Sign it and you're back to work.
Common questions
Do I have to fill in my date of birth and address?
No. Skip for now moves past the personal-detail steps; you can add them later from your profile. Only policy acknowledgements are mandatory.
Can I sign a policy with my mouse or finger?
Yes — choose Draw signature instead of typing your name. Either counts as a legal acknowledgement, recorded with a timestamp.
I closed the browser mid-onboarding. Did I lose my progress?
No. Each step saves as you complete it, and the wizard reopens at the step you left.
