Recover from a connection problem and contact support

Check whether a save finished, find system status, and send Owneli support a useful report without sharing private client details.

Updated Oct 13, 2026

A connection problem can interrupt a page or leave you unsure whether a save finished. Restore the connection, check the existing record, and contact Owneli support if the result is still unclear.

What does the offline screen mean?

Owneli could not reach the service. Check the device's connection and select Try again. The page checks again as the connection returns.

Keep the current page open while you reconnect. Leaving or reloading a page can lose unsaved entries. Information you entered is not proof that it reached the server.

A save or payment stopped responding. Should I repeat it?

Check the existing record first. A request can finish even when its response does not reach your device.

What you were doingWhat to check before trying again
Booking or moving an appointmentOpen the calendar at the correct location and date. Check the client, time and booking reference.
Saving a client or formFind the existing client or form and check its latest saved details or status.
Taking a paymentOpen the sale and its payment history. Do not take another payment while the first outcome is unclear.

For payments, see Sales history and receipts. If the state remains unclear, include the sale reference in your support request.

Where can I check system status?

Owners and admins can select System status from their account menu. The page shows the latest service checks and when they ran. Select Refresh for a new check.

This page requires staff sign-in and admin access. If you cannot sign in, use the Owneli contact page. A healthy check does not rule out a problem affecting one device or one task.

How do I contact Owneli support?

Select Contact Owneli support from your account menu. On a phone, open More to reach the account options.

Owners and admins can use Send us a message. Enter a Subject, choose Something is not working when reporting a fault, describe it in Message, and select Send message. Check Your messages for the request and its replies.

Other staff reach the public contact page. If the in-app message form is unavailable, use the support email shown there or on the support page.

What should I include?

Give support enough detail to reproduce the problem:

  • Your business and location, the time it happened and your time zone.
  • The page and control you used, what you expected, and what appeared instead.
  • Whether it affects one device, one staff account or the whole team.
  • A booking, sale or request reference when relevant.
  • A screenshot of the error with client details hidden.

Do not send passwords, payment card numbers or client health information. Describe the problem without copying the client's full record.

Common questions

Does sending a message give support access to my account?

No. Sending a support request and granting access are separate. Use the support page's access controls only when you choose to authorise a support session.

Can I keep taking bookings while offline?

Do not assume an offline action has been saved. Restore the connection and verify the appointment in Owneli before treating it as confirmed.

I sent a message, but nothing appears in Your messages

Check for an error and retry once the connection returns. If the form remains unavailable, use the support email and explain that the in-app request did not complete.
