LEAVING MINDBODY
Export your clients from Mindbody and bring them to Owneli.
The steps at Mindbody follow its own help, checked on the date shown. Owneli’s importer then reads the file, shows you every column, and writes nothing until you have checked a dry run.

Short answer
In Mindbody, go to Reports, then Clients, then Mailing List, include every client, generate the report and Export to Excel; appointments come from Schedule at a Glance. Do it before your final billing date. In Owneli, choose Generic CSV as the source under Settings, then Plan & data, then Import: Mindbody’s client report is recognised.
Export from Mindbody
Mindbody says your data stays available until your final billing date, so export before then.
Open the client report
Go to Reports, then Clients, then Mailing List.
Include everyone
List clients of every opt-in status, choose Clients only (or clients and prospects), then Generate.
Export to Excel
Select Export to Excel and save the file.
Export your appointments
Go to Reports, then Schedule Report, then Schedule at a Glance, include future appointments, and export. Split a long date range by year if it times out.
These steps follow Jane guide: importing from Mindbody, for the Mindbody export steps, checked 2026-10-22
Bring it into Owneli
Admins and owners import under Settings. Nothing is written until you have checked it.
Open the importer
Go to Settings, then Plan & data, then Import.
Choose where the data is from
Pick Generic CSV under “Where is this data from?”, then drop in your files: CSV, TSV or Excel (.xlsx), up to 15,000 rows each. An older .xls file needs saving as .xlsx or CSV first.
Check the columns
Every column is shown beside your own data, with the field it goes into. Point any column Owneli did not recognise at a field, or leave it out on purpose.
Dry run, then import
The dry run shows exactly what will be created, matched or skipped. Run the import; if anything looks wrong, Roll back import removes what it created.

| Other CSV exports, such as sales | The matching records | You confirm the columns |
| Saved cards | Clients add their card again through a secure link | Does not come across |

Questions
What if I have already cancelled Mindbody?
Mindbody’s own explainer says it offers a paid data export service for up to 30 days after cancelling. After that, ask Mindbody what it still holds.
Will imported clients get marketing messages?
Only those your file marks as opted in. Marketing consent follows the file: a no, a blank, or a file with no consent column leaves the client opted out.
Can I undo the import?
Yes. Roll back import deletes only the records that import created, unless they are already in use, such as an imported client with a new appointment.
