You always enter your own card, on a secure form provided by the payment processor — staff at your venue have no screen where they could type in or read back your card number. The venue only ever sees the card brand, last four digits, and expiry.
Who can see my card number?
Only the payment processor (Stripe). Whenever a card is needed, you enter it yourself:
| Where | When |
|---|---|
| The payment step of online booking | A deposit or card-on-file is required to confirm |
| A payment link or card-request link | The venue sends one to your phone or email |
| Wallet in your account | Adding or replacing a saved card yourself |
Your full number goes directly to the processor. This design is deliberate — there is no way for the venue to take your number over the phone through this software.
What can a saved card be charged for?
Only what the venue disclosed to you — typically a deposit, a membership renewal you signed up for, or a late-cancellation or no-show fee under a policy shown when you booked.
How do I manage my saved cards?
Sign in and open Wallet:
- Add card — entered by you on the secure form.
- Make default — the card your memberships bill against.
- Remove — after a confirmation, the card is detached at the payment processor and genuinely cannot be charged again. A membership billing to it will need a replacement.
Common questions
Can I give my card number over the phone?
Not through this software — staff have nowhere to enter it. They'll send you a secure link instead; that's normal and it's the safer path.
Why don't payment links need a password?
The link itself is the key — it's private to you. Don't forward one, and ask the venue for a fresh link if yours has expired.
Is my card stored by the salon?
No. It's stored with the payment processor. The venue sees only the brand, last four digits, and expiry date.
